How can I install VMWare ESX on a PC that doesn't have a scsi card recognized as standard by VMWare ESX but a sata card?!!!!

Since vmware made a free version of VMWare ESX available, I’ve been looking for a way to install it at home…
supporting only “enterprise class” controllers of the scsi type… but not wanting to use this kind of support but raid on SATA because it’s cheaper…
but not having found the solution until now… I had given up…
but I think I’ve found the solution on the http://vm-help.com/ site, which is full of information on how to use esx!!! notably how to install esx on a usb key or on an ide controller!
